FAMILY WINTER CELEBRATION
 December 2009 in Rohnert Park
Children and adults and their families from our Early Intervention Program, Escuelita Group, Roly Poly Group, Social Recreation Programs including campers, bowlers, and groups, Educational Services and special friends were invited. Santa visited with his elf and handed out presents with photos with him. Volunteers from Kohl's in Santa Rosa and Petaluma assisted at the event. Everyone had a great time!

EUREKA TELETHON
April 2010
 The Easter Seals Eureka Telethon is a fundraiser for programs and services for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities and special needs in the community. KIEM NewsChannel 3 broadcast the Telethon live from the KEET TV studio. North Coast Central Credit Union participated as a partnering business. Special thanks to the Bear River Casino for their sponsorship!
The North Coast Idol Competition was held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Arkley Center. High school vocalists competed for one of three $500 scholarships. The six finalists provided entertainment during the telethon. The event was a big hit raising $84,000 this year! Thanks to all of our supporters!

SPRING FESTIVAL

Our Early Intervention Program families and their children celebrated spring with the Easter Bunny, special treats from Kohl's and fun activities. Dr. Alex Frade provided free dental screenings.

MAD HATTER'S BALL
Spring Formal Dinner and Dance
May 30, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Rafael
 Mad Hatter's Ball was a fabulous event managed by Kristin Johnson and her team, Pat Carolyn Klenk, Deb Burchmore, Susanne Kreuzer and Pat Straub. The participants were asked to wear their silliest hat! Embassy Suites Hotel created a lovely meal and the festive decorations added to the fun. Music was provided by the East Bay Rockers who had everyone dancing.

Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon
Easter Seals Northern California 9th Annual Day on the Bay on July 11, 2009 at the Corinthian Yacht Club was a blast! Easter Seals teens and adults with disabilities had an opportunity to sail on the Bay with volunteer skippers and their boats from the Corinthian and San Francisco Yacht Clubs. Business sponsors were promoted at the event, on marketing materials, on the event sign, in our thank you advertisement, and on our website.  The 21st Annual Golf Classic event on Friday, August 14, 2009 was a fun day of friendly competition followed by an awards dinner, silent auction and raffle prizes. Special thanks to our Event Chair, Greg Cornelius at Century 21 Northbay Alliance, the event team and Century 21 volunteers and the Kohl's Santa Rosa volunteers. CENTURY 21 LAKE COUNTY GOLF CLASSIC
HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE GOLF COURSE
SEPTEMBER 19, 2009 
Leslie Kirchner, Ken Harbison and Suzanne Robinson produced a golf classic benefit for Easter Seals Northern California. Golfers participated in a silent and live auction for great prizes donated by local businesses. Raffle items were a big hit too. The Stillman family spoke about their personal Easter Seals experience which was very moving. Thank you to our volunteers who helped make this another successful event.
